I've included the vmware server route to the windows PATH, tried to run with many users, roles, permissions, tried all but nothing working.. The echo $DISPLAY will return like :1000.0 you need to set export DISPLAY=":1000.0" in your script. Edited the GNS3 ini files to reflect the new paths to GNS3 app files. That was significant part of my problem. The problem is, the VM's do not resume, so I have to manually resume them.

The path was wrong.
