Ubuntu Cannot Resolve


Ubuntu 16.04 installed - for whatever reason - the lxc packages, which contain a local dnsmasq set up which somehow prevents DNS to be used in the containers. The time now is 01:02 AM. This is because the desktop was not registering its hostname with the DHCP server. It's weird because while DNS does not work, I still get a response when I ping the same update servers that apt-get can't resolve. Check This Out
