Because in order to create, delete or modify any files on Windows NTFS drives you need Paragon NTFS for Mac - after minutes you won’t remember there ever was a problem. Once you install everything, plug in the drive and then it should mount for you to be able to read and write files to it. my review here I checked and sure enough, the WD is set to Read Only permission.
