It is a really weird behavior, because My host and virtual machines are not in the same network of second network adapter of gateway! I know 5.5 U2 fixed this for a lot of people, me included. Network Adabpter settings for both guests are equal and the only difference is their IP. Did you build VM4 from scratch?You could try adding a new NIC to VM4 and disable/remove the existing NICs. You could also delete the NIC and then readd it. Quote TheProf VMware Dude!
