If you only need MFC for afxres.h you can replace #include "afxres.h" [...] "#include ""afxres.h""\r\n" with #include "WinResrc.h" [...] "#include ""WinResrc.h""\r\n" You might need to add (but you will see that I know this probably isn't the best solution, but it works. I had the problem with standard Visual Studio, where this is not a good idea, because the .RC file will be auto-edited upon any resource-change and the afxres.h will return.
